The Waters 2475 Multi-Wavelength Fluorescence (FLR) Detector is a highly sensitive fluorescence detector for HPLC applications where high sensitivity and selectivity are required. The detector is suitable for quantifying very low concentrations of both naturally fluorescent compounds and compounds equipped with a fluorescent derivatization group.

The 2475 FLR offers various detection capabilities, including 2D, 3D, and on-the-fly spectral scanning. Up to four independent excitation/emission wavelength pairs can be monitored. This makes the detector highly suitable for method development and for complex analytical applications.

An important feature is the axially illuminated flow cell. This design reduces unwanted scattering and dispersion and ensures a high light output. The standard analytical flow cell has a volume of only 13 µL and a maximum pressure of 10 bar (145 psi).
