Labman Tidas Automated Grindometer

TIDAS automates the analysis of samples using a Hegman gauge. Fineness of grind is determined automatically and objectively, removing operator variations and ensuring reproducibility.
The sample is automatically drawn down the gauge, which is viewed by a high resolution camera at a shallow angle. The resulting histogram of particles distribution allows the system to generate a sample rating.
