The Hand Press is designed for a wide range of hydraulic pressing applications. They are particularly suitable for preparing solid samples for XRF analysis. When used with Specac Evacuable Pellet Dies they are ideal for making KBr discs for FTIR analysis. The presses can also be used with Specac Heated Platens for applications such as preparing thin polymer films.
