The VACUUBRAND MZ 2C VARIO is a chemical-resistant diaphragm vacuum pump with variable motor speed, supplied with a CVC 2000 vacuum controller and electronic vacuum sensor. This combination has been specifically developed for laboratory applications where a constant, precisely set vacuum pressure is necessary, such as rotary evaporation, vacuum distillation, filtration, and vacuum drying.

The vacuum controller continuously measures the system pressure via the connected vacuum sensor and automatically adjusts the pump speed. This ensures that the set pressure is accurately maintained without the pump constantly switching on and off. This results in quieter operation, reduced wear, lower energy consumption, and a more stable process.

The pump is fully equipped with PTFE (Teflon) and FFKM (Kalrez®) gas contact parts, making it highly resistant to aggressive vapors of organic solvents, acids, and other corrosive chemicals. Thanks to the oil-free design, the pump is low-maintenance and contamination of the vacuum system is prevented.
