The Nicomp is a powerful instrument designed to determine the size distribution of colloidal suspensions and dispersions by dynamic light scattering. It is also the central platform of a family of modular components that enables you to analyze the complete spectrum of colloidal (< 3 microns) particles. By combining individual modules/capabilities we can provide a fully automated system geared to your application.
The NICOMP uses the principle of dynamic light scattering to measure the particle size distribution. It is the only dynamic light scattering instrument designed using a modular approach. The size range is 0.001 – 5 microns.
Autodilution feature eliminates the need for manual dilution of concentrated samples. Autodilution makes particle size analysis quick and easy. Results are highly reproducible, especially for multiple users.
