Focusing on already established and well-known extraction techniques, E-812, E-816 SOX keeps the extraction mode ready to use. The standard version of the device refers to the size of the extraction chamber housing a glass test tube with frit and a beaker for solvent. The maximum capacity of the solvent beaker is 120 ml. The extraction chamber is spacious enough to accommodate a large 33 x 94 mm extraction thimble as an alternative to a glass frit sample tube.
