Thermo Scientific Acclaim C30 HPLC Column – 2.1 × 150 mm, 3 µm
The Thermo Scientific Acclaim C30 is a reversed-phase HPLC column specifically developed for the separation of hydrophobic and structurally related isomers. Thanks to the C30 alkylsilane phase, this column offers high shape selectivity, allowing differences between molecules with a similar chemical structure to be effectively distinguished.
The stationary phase consists of a covalently bonded C30 alkylsilane on ultrapure, spherical, and porous silica gel. As a result, the Acclaim C30 combines high selectivity with an efficient and robust packing.
The column is compatible with various aqueous buffers, thereby offering great flexibility in method development. Furthermore, due to the very low bleed, the column is suitable for applications in combination with mass spectrometry (MS). Technical specifications

Key benefits
High shape selectivity for the separation of structurally related isomers.
Unique selectivity that complements other reversed-phase columns well.
High chromatographic efficiency.
Robust and durable packing.
Compatible with various aqueous buffers.
Suitable for flexible method development. Very low column bleed, making the column suitable for LC-MS applications.
Stable within a pH range of approximately 2 to 8.
Typical applications
The Acclaim C30 is particularly interesting for analytical applications where high selectivity is necessary. For example, the C30 phase can be used for the analysis and separation of hydrophobic compounds, structural isomers, and other closely related components where a standard C18 phase offers insufficient discriminatory power.
