The Shandon Cytospin 2 Centrifuge effectively transfers sedimentable particles from a liquid suspension onto a microscope slide (for staining and analysis), but is primarily used to transfer biological cells. The Cytospin 2 can process up to 24 samples in 12 chambers and is suitable for a wide variety of microscope slides, available in sizes ranging from 0.1 ml to 6 ml. Widespread use in clinical medicine and biological research.
