The Labfirst Scientific Instrument MD-150 Molecular Distillation Unit is an advanced system for molecular (short path / wiped film) distillation, designed for separating, purifying, and concentrating heat-sensitive substances under high vacuum. The system is particularly suitable for applications within the pharmaceutical, chemical, food, nutraceutical, and extraction technology industries.

Thanks to the very short residence time of the product in the evaporation zone, thermal degradation is kept to a minimum. The MD-150 operates with a thin liquid film (“wiped film”), enabling efficient heat transfer and high separation performance.

The unit is constructed from high-quality materials such as borosilicate glass and 316L stainless steel, ensuring excellent chemical resistance, durability, and a clear view of the process.
