The IKA RCT Basic Safety Control ETS-D5 is a professional heating plate with an integrated magnetic stirrer, supplied with a stand, cross clamp (bosshead), and an ETS-D5 electronic contact thermometer for highly accurate temperature control of liquids. The external PT1000 temperature sensor directly measures the temperature of the medium, while the ETS-D5 actively controls the heating and provides additional independent safety protection against overheating. This makes the system particularly suitable for chemical syntheses, analytical applications, quality control, and research where stable and accurate temperature control is essential.
