The AT400 Analytical Balance has ‘’Fully Automatic Calibration Technology‘’ (FACT) and motorised (or manual) movement of glass doors. Great care was taken in the design to maintain compatibility with previous models; there should be no need to rewrite existing applications. Superb results can be achieved by making full use of the capabilities offered by the balance and interface. More than 30 commands help solve even tricky problems. The FACT automatically detects when the balance exceeds the allowed tolerance range and calibrates the balance using 2 internal weights. Besides the usual internal calibration, the proFACT also performs linear self-calibration. Besides the FACT, the balance has menu-driven calibrations: motorised internal calibration with linearisation by the built-in weights and external calibration by 400g weight. The balance’s control menu allows for adjustment of the balance to weighing conditions, calibration function, weighing process adapter, repeatability, auto zero correction, primary and alternative weighing units and interface output parameters. The draw screen of the balance consists of 3 glass doors: the top door, the left side door and the right side door. Each side door can be linked to the top door to move together or each side door can be moved separately. The doors can be moved automatically at the push of a button or they can be moved manually.
