Description
The OneTouch Select Plus Flex blood glucose system is intended to be used for the quantitative measurement of glucose in fresh capillary samples full of blood from the fingertips.
Glucose in the blood sample is mixed with the enzyme glucose oxidase in the test strip. This produces a weak electrical current. The strength of this flow depends on the amount of glucose in the blood sample.
Your meter measures the current strength, calculates your blood glucose value, returns the result and stores the result in memory.
